AI Video Enhancer

Upscale a soft or noisy clip and get a cleaner video back. Choose the output resolution and frame rate, then download the enhanced MP4. The run is powered by AI super resolution, not a plain resize. This is a Pro tool, and it uploads your video for processing.

How to enhance a video with AI

Add your video

Drop an MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM up to 200 MB. The clip is uploaded to the AI service, so do not send anything you would not want processed in the cloud.

Choose the output

Pick a resolution from 720p to 4K, a frame rate and a bitrate. Higher resolution costs more credits per minute, and the estimate updates as you change it.

Enhance and download

Start the run and watch the progress. The fast tool works at about three times real time, so a minute of video takes roughly three minutes. When it finishes, preview and download the MP4.

Why use Aihangsoft Video Enhancer

AI super resolution

A trained model reconstructs detail as it scales, instead of stretching pixels. Edges, texture and faces come back cleaner than a plain upscale.

Choose the output

Pick 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K, and keep the source frame rate or convert to 30 or 60 fps to smooth generated footage.

Fast, not a long wait

The fast tool runs at roughly three times real time, so a 1 minute clip is usually done in about 3 minutes. You can follow the progress on the page.

Built for real video work

Clean up old or compressed footage

Denoising and adaptive sharpening pull obvious blockiness and noise down, which helps clips that were re-shared, re-encoded or shot in low light.

Use case: old clips, social downloads, low light

Lift AI-generated video

Generate at a lower resolution and enhance afterwards. Upscaling a 480p or 720p generation to 1080p or 4K is cheaper than generating at the top size, and the frame rate option smooths 24 fps output.

Use case: AIGC clips, generative video, stock

Match a platform's spec

Set the resolution to 1080p for a standard upload or 4K for a large screen, and keep the source frame rate when the platform does not need a change.

Use case: YouTube, client delivery, presentations

Plain MP4 out

The result is a normal MP4 with the audio kept, so it plays anywhere and drops straight into any editor. There is no watermark and no app to install.

Use case: editing, delivery, archiving

Video enhancer FAQ

No. Video enhancement is a Pro feature, because every run is paid for on Volcengine's AI service and a single minute of 1080p output costs real money. Guests and free accounts cannot start a run: the upload area stays locked until you are signed in on a Pro plan. Pro is $6 a month and includes 1,500 credits, which covers about 22 minutes of 1080p video at 30 fps, since a 1080p run costs about 67 credits per minute. A 720p run costs about 34 credits per minute, a 2K run about 134 and a 4K run about 267. Credits are only deducted once a result is actually produced, so a rejected file or a failed run never costs you anything.
Your video is uploaded to our server, forwarded to Volcengine AI MediaKit, and processed by its fast quality enhancement tool. That service analyses the footage shot by shot, then applies a set of trained algorithms for super resolution, denoising and sharpening, and writes a new video at the resolution you picked. It is not a simple resize: the model tries to reconstruct detail rather than stretch pixels, so edges and texture look cleaner. It cannot invent detail that was never in the source, though. Footage that is heavily compressed, badly out of focus or extremely dark improves far less than slightly soft video, and we do not claim it can turn a low quality clip into a crisp one. The result is a downloadable MP4.
You can upload MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and MPEG, with a limit of 200 MB per file and 5 minutes per run on Pro. The input resolution must be under 2K, which means a short edge between 360 and 1440 pixels and a long edge between 360 and 2560 pixels. Files over 200 MB, or clips longer than 5 minutes, are rejected before anything is uploaded to the AI service, so nothing is charged. To handle a longer video, trim it first with our Video Trimmer, or compress it with the Video Compressor and enhance it in parts. Audio is kept in the output, and the container you get back is always MP4.
There are three settings. Resolution sets the final size, from 720p up to 4K, and it drives both quality and cost. Frame rate can stay as the source, or be converted to 30 or 60 fps, which is useful for smoothing AI-generated footage that was made at 24 fps; leaving it as the source keeps the original frame rate and is the cheapest option. Bitrate offers low, medium and high to control the visual quality against the final file size, with medium as the default. Processing time scales with the length of the clip: the fast tool runs at roughly three times real time, so a 1 minute video usually takes about 3 minutes and a 5 minute clip can take around 15 minutes. Keep the tab open while it runs.
Yes, this tool uploads. Unlike our browser based tools, your video is sent to our server, forwarded to Volcengine AI MediaKit for processing, and the finished file is stored on our server so you can download it. Results are deleted automatically: 30 minutes for a guest, 2 hours for a free account and 24 hours for Pro. We do not watch your footage, build a library from it or use it to train anything, and it is never published or shared. Keep in mind that the file does leave your device. If your footage is confidential, use one of our browser based video tools such as Video Trimmer, which runs entirely on your own machine and never uploads anything.
The enhanced file is yours to use, and we add no watermark and claim no rights over your footage. What you may do with it is still governed by the rights you already hold in the source material. Enhancing a clip does not grant new rights and does not, on its own, make a commercial release lawful. If you own the footage or have a licence that covers commercial use, publishing the enhanced version is no different from publishing the original. If the clip belongs to someone else, or contains music, logos or people you do not have permission for, treat the enhanced file exactly as you would treat the source. When in doubt, use footage you own or that is licensed for the use you have in mind.
