Sign PDF

Add your signature to a PDF straight from your browser. Handwrite it on the pad with a mouse, finger or stylus, or drop in a saved signature image, then place it on the page you choose. Nine position presets and a width slider set where the signature lands, and near white pixels are stripped away so no white box covers the page. Your PDF is opened and stamped on your device and is never uploaded.

The signature is placed as a picture on the page. It does not carry a digital certificate, so it is a visual signature rather than a verified one.

How to sign a PDF

Add your PDF

Drop one PDF into the tool or click to browse. The page count is read on your device so the page field knows its range, and nothing is uploaded.

Draw or upload your signature

Sign on the white pad with a mouse, finger or stylus, or switch to Upload and pick a PNG or JPG. Clear the pad and start again at any time.

Place it and download

Set the page, the corner and the width, then click Sign PDF. Check the output size and download the signed file with one button.

Why use Aihangsoft Sign PDF

Real handwriting, no account

Draw a fresh signature each time or keep one saved. There is no sign-up, no email and no activation step before you can sign.

Precise placement

Nine position presets, a page field and a width slider put the signature exactly where the form expects it, without dragging it around by hand.

Private by design

The document and the signature are both handled in your browser. Contracts, offers and IDs are never uploaded, stored or queued on a server.

Built for everyday signing

Sign a contract or a form

Open an agreement, pick the signature line and stamp your name in the bottom right corner. The page count is read first, so a multi page contract stays intact.

Use case: contracts, consent forms, HR paperwork

Sign on a phone or a tablet

The pad listens to pointer events, so a finger or a stylus draws the same way a mouse does. Scroll while signing is disabled, so the page stays still.

Use case: on the go, touch screens, stylus

Drop in a saved signature

Use a scanned or previously drawn signature instead of signing again. Transparent PNG is ideal, and a JPG works because the white background is removed on placement.

Use case: recurring documents, saved signatures

Keep the original quality

The rest of the document is left alone, so text stays selectable, links keep working and images keep their resolution. Only the signature is added as a new picture.

Use case: print, archiving, sending back

Sign PDF FAQ

Yes. The PDF is opened and stamped inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device. There is no sign-up, no page limit and no fee, and both the drawn and the uploaded signature stay local. Files are never uploaded, stored or queued on a server.
Add your PDF, draw your signature on the white pad with a mouse, finger or stylus, then pick the page, the corner and the width. Click Sign PDF and the signature is placed as a picture on the page. Download the result as your original file name plus signed.
No. The signature is an image placed on the page, so it does not include a certificate and cannot be verified as a cryptographic or legal signature. Anyone who opens the PDF can move or delete that picture. Use a certified signing service when an audit trail or a verified signature is required.
Yes. Set the page number in the page field and pick one of nine positions, from top left to bottom right. The width slider sets the signature size as a share of the page width, and the margin around the edge is fixed at 5% of the page width.
A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result, because there is no box behind the ink. JPG files also work, and near white pixels are turned transparent so a light background does not cover the page.
Not directly, because an encrypted file has to be unlocked before it can be edited. Open it in your PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and sign that copy instead. You can also unlock it first with the Unlock PDF tool and then add the signature.
